cowboyguyHe came this morning -- which I can't believe because he was only shipped Friday -- and I was still in my pajamas. So my mom answered the door, and the guy was like, "I have a package from Korea for you." I got it from him, and then I wouldn't put the box down until I found the camera and brought it into my room.
My boy is so adorable, I can't believe it. I love him so much.
So here's the pictures and more squee-ing from me behind the cut:
Okay, general excited babble first:
I’m still not 100% sure of his name, but I think we’re leaning toward Hadrian now. I’ve decided he's not Mathias, because now that's he here, he doesn't really look like a Mathias anyway. So he'll probably be either Hadrian or Julian, but I think he might end up being Hadrian.
I'm so glad, because my mom actually thinks he’s kind of cool. She’s not like, “Wow! A doll!” but she doesn’t hate him, either.
Also, he's still so kicky, he can't stand up yet! Every time I try to stand him up, he tries to sit back down. Lazy boy. I hope that'll wear off after awhile, because I'm waaaaay too scared to wire him. I won't even try taking off his headcap, yet.
He's also a lot heavier than I thought he'd be. I've never actually gotten to hold a bjd in real life yet, and I thought he'd be lighter. But I love his weight, he feels so solid.
Anyway, on to the pictures now!
So here we have the traditional box picture! It took forever to cut it open, because I didn't want to hurt his real box inside...

Um...would you mind finding me clothes? It's a little chilly down here..
Thank god for pants...
Yeah, you're lucky I spent the money so you don't have to go around naked.
But I'm also fairly sure I'm supposed to have hair.
I know. Hold on a sec.
Hair's good. Now give me my shoes!
Jeez, demanding much?
And this is what happened when I tried to put his socks on. He just sort of went thump! back onto my bed.
Then I realized that I'd put his pants on backwards, so this is after I took them off and put them back on the right way.
What the hell? You couldn't see the pockets right there?
Well, when my mother's sitting there and you're prancing around in all your naked glory, I didn't pay much attention to which way your pants went on!
*glare* This? I'm never wearing it again, okay?
Okay, okay. You don't like the sweater. I get it.
Then I tried to stand him up, and he still refused, so I put him back on the bed and one arm automatically went up behind his head.
I'm bored now. Stop taking pictures of me and let me relax a minute, will you?
And there you have it, folks. Hadrian is home, his name is Hadrian, and I'm absolutely in love with him. ^_^
