I just got an email this morning saying my Jerome's been shipped! I'm so excited! Can't wait for him to get here! *runs around and dances*

But I'm also freaking out because I think I'm going to change his name. It was Mathias, but that's also the name of one of the main characters in a story I'm writing, so I think it might get confusing...

What I really liked about Mathias was its versatility. Mathias sounds very proper and sophisticated, but then I can shorten it to "Mat" to make it casual, and then I can nickname it even further to uber-cute "Matty". So I loved how many good names I could get out of just one. If I change my doll's name, I want this versatility, because I think he'll be going through many different personality shifts as I'm figuring him out.

A few of the possibilities I was considering were:
Caspian
Marcus
Aurelian
Asher
Julian
Darius/Darian
Hadrian

I think I like Caspian, Hadrian, and Julian the best out of those so far, because I can think of nicknames to make out of them. But I really can't decide... I really liked Mathias, so I can't figure out if I want to just keep both of them named Mathias and be confused occasionally or if I should change his name.
I'll probably just see what fits when he gets here, but anyone have any suggestions or comments on what they like?
