So! NaNoWriMo starts in two days. And this time I'm actually going to make an effort to finish it. Not to make it perfect, not to get caught up in details, just to get to that 50k word count. Right now I'm feeling fairly confident. (But that's what they all say right before they go mad.)

I'm so focused on NaNo starting that I'm not even thinking of Halloween as Halloween. The only part I care about is when midnight hits and I can start writing. Fueled, of course, by a huge supply of leftover candy.
