Damn those germs
Nov. 14th, 2008 04:53 pmArgh. Just argh. And maybe a side of grrrr.
My word count for NaNo is 13,809. On the 11th, it was 13,310. Why, you ask, have I written only five hundred words in three days? Because I spent the past two days laying in my bed being miserable and recovering from the flu. I swear, this has been the craziest NaNo November I've ever had. Since election day, I have been consistently sick with one thing or another. I'm finally better, but now I'm about 10,000 words behind in my word count. I've got two weeks to go, and I'm going to have to write over 36,000 words if I still want to win. I'm gonna need some serious determination if I want to get all the way to 50k. Wish me luck!
