Sam looks a little disappointed. “But… you have to properly commemorate the day first.”

“What are you talking about?” Dean mumbles.

But then he notices that he hasn't seen Sam all morning, and Sam usually comes in at least once just to hang out. So he goes in search of his brother and eventually finds Sam in the kitchen, where Sam is trying, but completely failing, to make a birthday cake. Because we all know Dean is the real chef in the family.

Jen comes home to find that Jared has made a nest of blankets on the living room floor and is sprawled across it, drooling on his pillow with the TV playing softly.
