Crisis averted... I hope

Okay, so I think I'm giving Darcy a second chance. I was just thinking about it, and reading threads about selling dolls, and I think I would absolutely hate it if I sold him and then saw someone else posting pictures of what used to be my doll. So I'm giving it another shot.



I changed the direction of his eyes, so he's looking sideways now, and I like that a little bit better. I might try buying him a different wig and see how he looks in something that's not a fur wig. Need to make/buy him some more clothes, too. Maybe a different pair of eyes, I don't know.





There's the way his eyes are facing now. Think they look okay?

Anyway, my dollie crisis is over for the time being. Now my only problem is how long it's going to take me to make the money to buy my Bory. ^_^

Are those the eyes he came with? I ask because they look like the same color as my Lu-wen came with. I find that saving is a lot easier if you put yourself on a schedule. My savings account automatically takes $25 out of my checking account each time I get paid, so I'm putting money into savings without even trying.

Yep. Those are the Luts green glass eyes that he came with.
And the savings schedule thing is good. I'd figure out how to do that with my savings account, only I tend to take money out of my savings account when I don't think I have enough in my checking. ^_^ I'll figure out a way, though. Have to get a Bory; he's just too cute not to. ^_^

Awww I'm glad you gave him another chance. ^¨ El is such a charming mold, ^^ I agree on the different position for the eyes and I hope you'll find him a nice wig!

I'm glad, too. I realized that I liked the El a lot, and if I sold Darcy, I'd probably never be able to buy another El, because I'd feel so guilty. So while this El may soon have a drastic personality/look/possible name change, I'm glad I'm keeping him.

I do think I need to take him apart and restring him, though, because he still refuses to stand for me...
