NaNoLog: Day...7

Okay, so I'm a bad, bad girl. I told myself I'd update my journal every day in November. I, uh... haven't done that. And I said I'd do this NaNo thing, but I haven't gotten as far as most other people. But! I did start over again, and I'm writing a Buffyverse fanfic now, and I like it a lot better than the other story I tried to do at first.
My story's Spander, and I'm working on getting Spike and Xander's voices right, because every now and then they'll say something that doesn't exactly sound like them, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. Also, this is my first Spander fic, so I figure I'm allowed a little error-room. But I have a general plot line, and I have a few scenes later in the fic planned out, so it's looking interesting. Hopefully I'll get the chance to write a lot more, but today I've got a test, and work, and I have to read about a hundred pages of a book, and choose classes for next semester and it's a whole big fun day... But I don't have work tomorrow morning, so hopefully that'll be a good chunk of writing time for me. ^_^

omg. Spander. eeeeeeeeee!

That's the reason why I cannot successfully write fanfiction, especially Spander. I guess it would help for Spike if I was better with British slang and all.

By the way, whenever you can manage it, I would absolutely love to read your Spander fic whenever possible. I just can't get enough Spander in every day with NaNoWriMo. I'm going into withdrawl.

Thanks! Hopefully I'll be able to finish it. Usually I'm not very good about finishing fics, but NaNo has given me more inspiration to actually work on it.

Yeah, I'm a little nervous about their voices, but I figure I'll try as best as I can. And I can always find a British beta to help me with Spike-voice. ^_^

I actually just thought of an idea for a Spander AU fic last night, so maybe after I'm done with this, I'll write that one, too. Actually, I'll probably start trying to do both at once, because I'm excited about my new idea, too.
