Sorry I didn't respond to this sooner! Was gone basically all weekend. Thanks for the support -- I don't know that there's much you can do, unless you want to take my place at my job for the next two weeks, but I definitely appreciate the support. :)

I was sorta kinda thinking about whether it would be fun or helpful to try to start a discord chat with some SF folks, just to talk fic ideas and share recs and whatnot. I'm in a Star Wars discord chat and it's been really nice being able to have conversations with fellow fans in almost real time. Reminds me of the good old days when LJ memes were much more active and the comments would come in almost faster than I could keep up with them.
